In 2026 Burdekin Christian College will be introducing Wellio Education into year 8 and 10 care classes. It is a digital wellbeing platform designed to help schools teach important topics like resilience, healthy relationships, mental health, and responsible technology use through engaging, research‑based lessons. It provides teachers with a large library of curriculum‑aligned activities, short surveys, and tools to track student wellbeing over time. In school, we’ll use Wellio to run structured wellbeing lessons, check in on how students are feeling, and adapt our program based on real data so we can better support students’ social and emotional growth.
